Jay & Honey
Their concept somehow caught my attention. A Moulin-Rouge-Themed SDE and an E-Session to boot. This is Jay’s department… the photo/video component of the wedding is his assignment. The initial rendezvous with them was a q&a type of meeting. I was asked about my inspiration and influences regarding my craft and the equipments that I employ. No wonder… Jay is a Communication Arts grad.
Honey is in-charge of the other details such as the invites, her gown of course (which was her design by the way), and other nitty-gritty.
1st off, their E-Session MTV. It involved 2 photographers, 3 different locations, 8 wardrobes, & 2 days of shooting. Here’s a little behind-the-scene MTV.
They wanted their E-Session video to be a Grand Entrance Teaser.
And their SDE….time-lapse galore… Le Pavilion became a Moulin Rouge setting too. Notice the tic-tac-toe board game scene that they did. Maybe this is Jay & Honey’s message that nobody can cross their path and they will live the rest of their lives together… come what may.

April 2nd, 2009 at 7:55 amIf you are an ordinary videographer you would have used the lame excuse
“I’m no longer available on your wedding day”
especially after the gruelling q&a the first time we met, the many times we promised to deposit
downpayment but didn’t, and the infamous review I did about local wedding videographers.
BUT YOU’RE NO ORDINARY!
You were MAN enough to take the challenge, HUMBLE and SECURE enough to accept criticisms
and PATIENT, ACCOMMODATING and CONFIDENT enough to deal with all our requests however difficult and crazy they were.
THAT MAKES YOU EXCEPTIONAL.
You have talent and the right attitude.
You and your team along with the MangoRed and Imagine Nation guys made everything light and easy during the wedding.
With this great work, I am sure you’ll have more projects.
MARAMING MARAMING SALAMAT!

April 10th, 2009 at 5:59 amHi Chug,
Thank you, thank you, thank you so much.
I agree with everything that Jay posted above. You are simply amazing!
But I want to add something more I admire about you… I am in awe with the way you handle pressures and stresses. You know how to keep your cool. You know how to remain level-headed. You know how to keep it together. Ibang klase ka Chug! Sobrang galing mo, pero sobrang humble mo. Thanks again for doing the extra mile. =)
And oh, I *love*love*love* the behind-the-scenes MTV!!! It’s a very very nice surprise! I just wish there’s also a glimpse of you there! Para complete na ang mga “ultimate champs” ko. =) Hehehe.

April 12th, 2009 at 4:58 pmHey Chug! Thank you so much for those wonderful videos taken of Jay and Honey’s wedding. They are all taken artistically, superb and we just want to see them again and again. Our wish is that we would reach our Golden anniversary and that you’re still around doing these wonderful jobs so we can invite you to be our official video/cameraman. Again thanks a lot for a job well done and more power to you and your staff.
