From Bagiuo to Cebu

10:00pm we left Camp John Hay Clubhouse at 10:00pm. Quite a good time for us to catch our 4:00am flight to Cebu. At around 12mn somewhere in Paniqui, Tarlac, our left-rear tire blasted. Thank God we were safe and my parents attended to our mishap immediately. We were back on the road after an hour and a half. I knew we weren’t going to make it before 4:00am but we took the chance. Who knows? The flight could be delayed sometimes… But unfortunately we were 30 minutes late missed our plane. So I went to a nearest ticketing office to book a new flight for 4. Lo and behold! The total fare is P25, 000.00/ $600. With no hesitation at all, I took the 8:00am flight. I didn’t want to ruin my brides wedding day and my career too. A commitment is a commitment.

We arrived at 10:00 am and went straight to our hotel to take a quick shower and a doze of caffeine. At 11:00am we’re at our couple’s resort. Just in time for the preparation and our bride’s dressing-up. Had enough time to catch my breath too 🙂

A spectacular view, and fabulous flowers and arrangement by the bride’s mom welcomed us. Mike & Iza had a very successful wedding and intimate at that.

We ended the day well and breezed through the day’s grind as if no untoward incident happened. Looking back, I realized how blessed we were and that something worse could possibly happen but it didn’t. I give God all the credit.
